FAQ's:
Who will be in attendance at the conference?
Typically the make up of the attendees consists of Attorneys, Accountants, Physicians, Hospital Administration, and Consultants.
What is the deadline to register?
There is no deadline, although we prefer that you register at least two weeks in advance (before April 20) so that materials and preparations can be made.
Can I sign up to attend just one or two sessions?
No. Under certain circumstances, we may offer a half day rate. For more information, please contact Akemi Henderson at akemi@renaissanceamerican.com.
Does the conference registration fee include the the pre-conference Reception, Award Dinner, and Luncheon?
Yes.
Do I need to make my own room reservations with the hotel?
Yes. Renaissance American Management, Inc. has secured a limited number of rooms at the The Adolphus Hotel at the special rate of $165/night. The deadline to make your hotel reservation and to receive the special rate is April 14. Who qualifies for the "Healthcare Provider" discount?
Physicians, nurses, executives and employees of hospitals, clinics, imaging centers, nursing homes, etc. all qualify for the provider discount.
Are CLE credits available?
The CLE Board of the State of Texas does not consider business-oriented conferences “education” for Texas lawyers, therefore they will not accredit a conference like this. We have no trouble getting our Healthcare Transactions conferences accredited in Pennsylvania and Ohio which have reciprocity with other states. We will get pre-approved, as we always do, for CLE credits from the Pennsylvania and Ohio Boards which will be applicable throughout the country except for Texas attorneys’ home-state requirements.
Are CPE credits available?
We are certified by the State of Illinois as a Registered Public Accountant Continuing Professional Education Sponsor. Give us a business card at the conference, and we will send you a certificate of attendance for you to send to your CPE board.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for the Southwest Healthcare Transactions conference will be subject to a $100 administration fee. In order to receive a prompt refund, your notice of cancellation must be received in writing (by letter, fax, or email) fifteen (15) business days prior to the conference. We regret that refunds will not be issued after April 14, 2010. The registration may be transferred to another member of your firm for this or any future Renaissance American Management, Inc. conference within 13 months. If you plan to send a substitute in your place, please notify us as soon as possible so that materials and preparations can be made. In the unlikely event of a conference cancellation, Renaissance American Management, Inc., Beard Group or Health Industry Council of North Texas Region assume no liability for non-refundable transportation costs, hotel accommodations or additional costs incurred by registrants.
